Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010At it’s very heart Fancy Pants Global is a games company. At the moment we have two projects in active development and another three projects in pre-production. One of these projects is a large scale, location based game which we will hopefully reveal soon.

In March 2009 a group of guys met in a sleazy bar in Iceland. Their purpose: to have a few beers and discuss a crazy idea about founding a games studio. This idea, that seemed almost absurd at the time, soon grew on us and a few months later Fancy Pants Global was officially founded. Fancy HQ (our office) was set up in beautiful downtown Hafnarfjörður, with a little support from Iceland Innovation Center, and work began on our first projects.
Fancy Pants Global is an independent games studio based in Iceland, founded by a group of socially awkward geeks. Our goal is to make quality games and apps for mobile devices and to make a few bucks while we’re at it. Driven by determination, love of all things geeky and an unhealthy fascination of games we plan to conquer the world, one gaming platform at a time.
