Sorry it took so long!
Wow, it‘s really been awhile since we posted our last blog. The main reason for that is that we’ve just been so busy working on our Maximus Musicus iPhone game. We‘ve made a lot of progress in the last few weeks and it‘s awesome to see our first game take shape.
For those that do not know, Maximus Musicus is the title character of the award winning childrens books Maximus Musicus. They revolve around the mouse Maximus as he learns about classical music, it’s instruments and famous works. The Maximus books have already been published in Iceland and South Korea and soon the books will also be available in Australia and other countries.
So, how does Fancy Pants Global plan to deliver this source material to the iPhone, iPad and iPhone Touch? Of course through the tried and tested way of mini games.
Maximus Musicus consist of a handful of mini games, some focusing on different aspects of classical music, others just designed to entertain kids.
The core of the game is the inclusion of several classical instruments that kids can play, either through free-form play or through simple imitation gameplay. At launch Maximus Musicus will feature 3-4 instruments, including the piano, percussion and the harp. If the demand arises we have designed many more instruments that will be added via free updates.
So now two big questions emerge, how much will it cost and when is it available? Well, the game will be launched on the AppStore October 5th but our crack team of marketing experts, consisting of two monkeys wearing tophats and a bunny named Mr. R.J. Fluffybottoms, haven’t settled on a price just yet but they will announce the price when it has been decided.
So now the beans have been spilled, time to start cooking.
End transmission,
Fancy Pants Global
