Fancy artists wanted

As the release of Zorblobs draws near we‘re putting on our game faces and getting ready to rock this fickle beast called marketing. But there is one thing that we want to turn our attention to before launch and that is the soon-to-be-awesome website Zorblobs.com. Right now there is not much to see there but that‘s something we‘ll be changing in due time.

Zorblobs.com is going to be much more than just a website for our game. We want to collect and showcase all kinds of things as long as they are related to Zorblobs, submitted by artists from all over the world. Posters, sketches, comics and even claymation animation will be on display, and probably tons of other stuff we haven‘t thought of yet.

So if you are the „arty“ type and think you can create the most awesome Zorblob artwork known to man, just submit it through art@fpg.is and we‘ll post it on our website. Now you are probably thinking, what´s in it for me? Well, Zorblobs is not just this one game. We‘re planning atleast two more games and new games mean new artwork to use in the game or for promotional purposes. Are things starting to make sense? All artist who submit their artwork will of course be credited for their creations. And if we end up using any material in-game or for publicity purposes the creators will be compensated.

So, lets do the math.

Awesome artwork + publicity  = street cred x little luck = instant fame. Sound good, right?

So for those who are interested in submitting their artwork and have no idea what Zorblobs is all about here‘s the short-short version. Zorblobs are a alien race that have drifted down to Earth after eating up their home planet. They are mindless eating machines that will consume everything in their path, especially humans. Humans have to unite to fight off this braindead foe and preserve human civilization. If you need any visual reference you can visit zorblobs.com and look at our teaser trailer for the game. We‘ve also uploaded a bunch of Zorblobs themed artwork to our Facebook page so there should be plenty of inspiration for all you artistic types.

But keep in mind, you are not bound by any rules regarding the Zorblobs franchise. If you can think of it, you can do it. Just let us have a look at it!
